The court supported the withdrawal of the Dutch department for the protection of consumer rights and markets (ACM). In addition, the company has forbidden to talk about alternative payment methods other than the App Store. The court also confirmed that Apple received a commission for small developers 30% and 15% of the income.
The regulator has imposed sanctions against Apple, which is fine to avoid complying with these requirements. The court accepted the need for such measures.
Apple himself said they plan to object to this decision. The company believes that the decision weakens the technologies and tools they have created to support user developers and protection, including privacy and security problems.
