In the new study, the scientists team analyzed the national data set compiled from centers for control and prevention of extensive online data for epidemiological research. For 1970-2022, it included all cases of death associated with heart disease among adults aged 25 and over.
The total mortality rate obtained from cardiovascular diseases decreased by 66%. Therefore, mortality caused by coronary heart disease fell from 91%to 53%of heart attacks -89%.
On the other hand, experts discovered a significant increase in other cases of heart disease. For example, 106% (13% of all death cases in 2022), the frequency of the development of hypertension heart disease 146% (12% of all the deaths associated in 2022) – heart failure, 450% (4% of all the deaths associated in 2022) – arrhythmia.
