According to industrial sources, the problem began in June after pre -orders for components at the end of May. Apple will offer smart phones in autumn – four models are expected: iPhone 17 (6.1 ″), 17 air (6.6 ″), 17 pro (6.3 ″) and 17 pro max (6.9 ″).

The total OLED display planned in 2025 is about 110 million. Of these, the Samsung screen will provide 70 million with the remaining 41 million LG display. Samsung will provide everything except all models and professional version.

China Boe, which previously provided LTPS OLED panels, has not yet been allowed to produce a new generation LTPO that Apple has now used in all models. This is due to quality problems and high technical requirements.

Compared to the iPhone 16 series, a decrease in volumes is associated with geopolitical voltage and possible tasks in smartphones in the US.
