The yacht will only work on sunny, wind and kinetic energy – there will be no engine or backup power. This will make the world’s largest sailing yacht completely independent of fuel into hypersay on the foils.
The project was developed by French marine architect Guillaume Verdier. It created a system that stabilized at three points of the yacht support: one is under the spine and two in the steering wheel.
Ferrari did not decide which Hyperswill will participate in which competitions. According to John Elkann’s president, the yacht goes beyond existing rules and serves as a platform for “experiments and new ideas.”
The construction of the prototype in Italy and the first tests on water are planned in 2026.
