The Bank of Russia issued silver rubles with the image of a mushroom, dandelion and violet.

The Bank of Russia announced the release of coins in circulation on its website.

On the reverse of the two-ruble coins, a double-net mushroom, a white-tongued dandelion, and an incised violet were applied. Each of these representatives of the flora is listed in the Red Book of the Russian State.

The Central Bank noted that the side of each coin has a corrugated texture. The coin contains 15.5 grams of 925 silver. The circulation of each new coin is limited: 5 thousand pieces.

The Bank of Russia created a series of coins called "Red Book" in 1992. Earlier, within this series, coins with the image of representatives of the fauna were issued. Mushrooms and plants first appeared on the coins issued by the Bank of Russia, the regulator's press service noted.
