The new system can recognize the texture, temperature and hardness of objects as people do. According to experts, these robots open up expectations to create and create modern prostheses. The laboratory has already experienced a robotic hand controlled by a glove with sensors – repeats a person’s movement and slowly learns to work autonomously.
The main task of the project is to develop full automatic systems that can move independently after training. Such robots will be able to participate in dangerous operations for people in eliminating the consequences of disasters.
