Development is based on the innovative business principle using a very electrode -compatible kingdon trap. This technology allows you to analyze the composition of substances with high accuracy by measuring the ion mass held in a special trap.
Compared to foreign analogues, the Russian device has similar features and has a compact dimensions and a more affordable cost. The prototype has already passed the tests and was transferred to the state acceptance.
Mass spectrometer will find the application in basic scientific research, chemical industry, petrochemical and discovery.
The project, which was implemented with Skoltkh as part of the domestic instrumentation program, started in August 2024.
