Previously, the government has allocated 3.5 billion rubles to compensate for costs when purchasing domestic charger. In this way, more than 2,000 fast charging stations are currently operating in Russia.
New funds will be directed to operators of equipment purchasing cost and a portion of the cost of connecting to electrical networks. Finance is carried out as a part of the national project “industrial support of transportation mobility”.
The development of the charging infrastructure is an important factor in the growth of the popularity of electric vehicles in Russia. According to Mishustin, the presence of charging stations throughout the country will operate more suitable for owners of such machines.
