The new system can be used by users of a single biometric system (EBS). As stated in the Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko device, technology will only work among the carriers with the necessary equipment. At the same time, traditional descent methods will remain.
Previously, the press service of the Biometric Technologies Center (Central Bank) said that in the second half of 2025, a service in Russia will be launched in Russia to increase the previously registered biometry level. After passing the simplified procedure in the bank, users will be able to use all services of a single biometric system without restricting it.
