Raiffeisenbank introduces a fee for incoming dollar transfers. Its size will be 50% of the transfer amount, but not less than $1000. The maximum commission is $10,000.
The new rate will enter into force on September 1, it applies to both individual and company accounts.
“The bank is forced to limit the amount of incoming US dollar transfers due to changing market conditions. We recommend customers use other methods to receive payment, ”says the website of the credit institution.
In March, the Austrian Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) announced its intention to sell its Russian division. The European Central Bank asked the group to stop the Russian business. In May, the group allowed the transfer of the Russian division to its own shareholders.
Previously, Raiffeisen set a fee for transfers in dollars, but then it did not exceed $500.
