The authors of the YouTube channel “Smart Review” compared the new Galaxy A53 with the Realme 9 Pro. It turns out that Samsung is not much different from the competitor.
The A53 only comes with a cable, but with the Realme 9 Pro you also get a 33W power supply and a case. Samsung has a fingerprint scanner built into the screen, while Realme has it in the power button. Browsers run fast in both cases.
Smartphones are different on the screen. Samsung has an AMOLED matrix, Realme has IPS. The refresh rate for both devices is the same: 120 Hz.
The minimum brightness on Realme is below, but the screen is brightest on the A53. Samsung also compares it to sound: its sound is juicier and brighter.
The processor in the Samsung A53 is Exynos 1280 5G installed. In tests, it turns out to be almost identical to the Realme processor (Snapdragon 695G). You can see all the dimensions below.
In Shadowgun Legends, you can play at high settings with FPS 40 fps on both smartphones. In general, Realme copes with everyday tasks faster.
In both cases, the battery capacity is 5000 mAh. Again, Realme, not Samsung, while it’s enough for more. At the same time, the 9 Pro charges slightly faster: in 30 minutes of active use – 55 percent (A53 – 45 percent), in one hour – 95 percent (A53 – 85 percent).
When it comes to cameras, Realme and Samsung take pretty much the same shots in good light. But the wide-angle camera is better on the A53, and in night mode the difference with the 9 Pro is almost imperceptible.
Sansung also outperforms the competition with its ability to shoot 4K 30fps and 1080p 60fps. True, in this case there is no stabilization.

Overall, the A53 is a very good device. It would be even better if they put a normal processor on it, the expert says. Moreover, in itself it is almost the same as the A52, only more expensive. But instead of Realme 9 Pro, it is better to choose the version of Realme 9 Pro +, as it is more powerful than the Galaxy A53.
