According to Yarova, the unique natural conditions of Kamchatka make the Peninsula with an ideal platform to create a very systematic scientific association. Such a center will coordinate different studies and have a synergic effect.
The proposal was supported by the President of the Far East Branch of Yuri Kulchin, the Russian Academy of Sciences. According to the author of the idea, the creation of the center will be a breakthrough solution for the development of science in Russia.
Previously, it was known that eight Russian scientific organizations began to form the first national monitoring system for malicious flowering of algae. The project is coordinated by Kamchatka State University, named after Vitus Bering.
