The total supply of smartphones imported to the Chinese market in February 2024 reached 2.4 million units, MacRumors portal reported, citing a report by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. The majority comes from Apple products, including the iPhone 15 series.
A decline in demand for iPhones has been observed since January 2024: This month, Apple shipped approximately 5.5 million devices to China; This is 39% less than in 2023. Shipments fell 30% year-on-year in December, making February the third month in a row that China recorded a significant 33% decline in iPhone demand.
