As Sergei Popruzhenko, the Head of the Theoretical Nuclear Physics Department, competition is designed to attract talented and ambitious school children that value complex intellectual challenges to the university. They are the students who create a special intellectual atmosphere at the university.
Participants offer repetitive sequences and five non -standard tasks with an experimental determination of the number π. The finalists are waiting for the protection of decisions, the courses of scientists and trips in the laboratory.
The correspondence phase will last until September 30, and the full time will take place between 15 October -30 November. The winners will benefit Mephi and will receive the possibility of education at the expense of university.
