The most active users were viewers from Kazakhstan (371.9 million views), the USA (235.3 million) and Belarus (214 million). The top five also include Germany (108.6 million) and the Netherlands (108.4 million).
According to Gazprom-Media Holding General Manager Alexander Zharov, the platform’s audience is increasing every month. In Russia, RuTube is watched by about 80 million people monthly, and the share of foreign viewers continues to grow. Zharov stated that the team tried to make the product suitable for both authors and audiences outside the country.
The most popular are UGC content, which are videos created by the users themselves, especially lifestyle videos. Foreign viewers mostly watch a selection of movies, TV series, entertainment and news.
