Using the function is simple: open the article, search for Gemini and select Summarize Page. The AI creates a brief summary of the article in a separate window. You don’t need to copy the link into the app to work; The function works on all sites. The current Gemini 2.5 Flash produces about 100 words.
After creating the resume, you can ask the AI additional questions.
The Summarize Page feature is already available on Android, iOS, and the desktop version of Chrome. In the future, Google may expand Gemini’s capabilities to summarize not only text but also images, videos, and media articles.
