According to the brand, the Chinese smartphone showed noticeably better image quality; higher detail, more accurate color rendition and lower noise levels.

The test was carried out in difficult conditions: the cameras were shot from a helicopter, where vibrations and shocks seriously complicated the stabilization work. Despite this, both devices coped with this task, but according to HONOR, the advantage remained with Magic8 Pro.

The manufacturer also highlighted the role of artificial intelligence, which helps improve clarity and color reproduction in low light. The company had previously claimed that the Magic8 Pro will have the most powerful telephoto lens for night photography in the industry.

The official presentation of the HONOR Magic8 series will take place today, on October 15, 2025. So far, independent testing has not confirmed HONOR’s results, so the degree of objectivity of the comparison remains in question.
