The FSB has developed a draft presidential decree, which assigns to the agency the authority to register, record and use all devices and programs to secretly obtain information.
According to the documentation, under control is the entry of devices for wiretapping, surveillance and analysis of data intended for sale, import into Russia or export outside its borders by persons not authorized for operational investigative activities. The project also provides for FSB control over the import and export of such technologies.
Now the accounting of such funds is entrusted to several departments.
The presidential decree will allow the FSB to centralize the accounting of special equipment and regulate their circulation in Russia. [Ведомости]
