The finale of the program shocked the audience – it turned out that the host of the program was created entirely by a neural network.

For an hour, the “journalist” talked about how artificial intelligence is pulling people away from professions, appearing in different places and conducting interviews.

But it eventually turned out that none of these appearances were real: The presenter’s appearance and voice were created by the artificial intelligence developed by Seraphinne Vallora for the Kalel Productions studio.

This marks the first time in British television history that a documentary has been produced entirely hosted by artificial intelligence.

Channel 4 emphasized that it did not intend to use such a format regularly, but wanted to show how easily viewers can be misled if artificial intelligence is used without disclosing the source.

The publication also included the results of a survey of 1,000 British business people: 76% of companies are already using AI for tasks previously performed by humans, and half of executives expect staff reductions in the next five years.
