Buyers are increasingly choosing mid- and high-end smart TVs with 4K resolution and large diagonals. In the third quarter alone, 1.5 million devices were sold for a total of 44 billion rubles.

Retailers’ branded models continue to lead in unit sales (21% of the market), followed by Haier (15%), Xiaomi (9%), Hisense (8%) and TCL (7%).

In monetary terms, Haier ranks first (19%), followed by Samsung (12%), Hisense and Tradebrand lines (11% each) and TCL (10%).

Almost half (45%) of TVs sold run Android/Google TV. YaOS’s share increased to 16%, while Russia’s Salyut TV had 7%.

Models with a diagonal of 43-55 inches are also increasingly gaining popularity and are gradually replacing compact 32-inch TVs.
