According to Bond, the Microsoft Gaming team is actively working on prototypes and designs for future devices and is also collaborating with AMD on hardware foundations.
The company is also considering other form factors, including the possibility of creating built-in portable solutions.
Bond emphasized that the launch of the ROG Ally series does not mean giving up on its own consoles. On the contrary, Microsoft sees the partnership with Asus as an opportunity to accelerate innovation and give gamers more options for different scenarios, from portable games to full-fledged console games.
“We are always listening to players and responding to the demand for innovation,” said Bond, adding that the next wave of Xbox will focus on a much more flexible and versatile gaming environment.
