At the same time, Leonov believes that it is not worth returning the mask mode. The MP noted that at a meeting, people often said, “God forbid, don’t let the masks come back.” However, he also emphasized that the decision to return or continue the mask regime will be made according to the number of cases and the severity of the disease.
“As for the decision on the mask regimen, Rospotrebnadzor advises people with chronic diseases and the elderly to start wearing masks again. So far, this is a voluntary, consultation procedure. The introduction of a mandatory mask regime for all will depend on how the new coronavirus wave unfolds if it does emerge. In those who are infected, the decision will be made on the number of cases and the severity of the coronavirus, ”explained Sergey Leonov.
