LG announced two new gaming monitors to its portfolio this Wednesday (27) during its controversial UcconX event, from the UltraGear and UltraWide series. Devices released 165Hz refresh rate and Quad HD resolution.
The first monitor LG UltraGear 32GN600It has a 31.5-inch display, running at Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440). The panel is VA type which is ideal for competitive gamers along with a high refresh rate of 165Hz and 1ms response time.
The model features 95% sRGB color gamut and HDR10 technology to increase brightness and contrast. AMD FreeSync Premium. The design bets on the style of very thin endless edges to create a larger portion of the screen for the user, and the build is simple, with options to tilt forward or backward, but without the possibility to adjust the height. Inputs include two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, and a headphone jack.
ultra wide model, LG 34WPC65C have 34 inch curved screen In 21:9 format, it provides 30% more field of view for the player. The design also has thin bezels and tilt adjustment like the previous monitor.
The resolution is also Quad HD and the refresh rate is slightly lower with 160Hz and 1ms response time. The model is equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium, High Dynamic Range HDR and Dynamic Action Sync technologies.
The LG UltraGear 32GN600 and UltraWide 34WPC65C monitors are already available in Brazilian retail outlets and LG has entered into a partnership to market these products first hand by Kabum. At the time of writing, only UltraGear was found, priced at R$3,099.
