Claims against Svyaznoy were filed by Alfa-Bank for 6 billion rubles, Merlion for 5.6 billion rubles, Sovcombank for 2.4 billion rubles, and Rostelecom for 1 million rubles. These organizations are creditors and counterparties of Svyaznoy.
Svyaznoy needs to raise at least 3 billion rubles to avoid bankruptcy, says Eldar Murtazin, chief analyst at Mobile Research Group. It will be difficult for Svyaznoy to raise these funds from abroad due to ongoing litigation, the expert believes.
At the end of 2021, Svyaznoy received a record income of 105 billion rubles, with a net profit of 15.2 million rubles.
