Huawei launched this week on July 27. HarmonyOS 3, the latest version of your operating system. With this iteration of the platform, the company promises: more performance and securitynot only for mobile phones, but also for various smart devices.

This is the first important part to remember in this release. HarmonyOS is not only Huawei’s solution to stay in the mobile phone market after Android is blocked, but also a full investment in the smart device ecosystem (internet of things) and future connected home.

In addition to new mobile features and a redesigned interface, HarmonyOS 3’s HyperTerminal, Handle 12 different types of smart devices, including printers, smart glasses, and even cars. This feature is also compatible with Windows 11 computers, for example, allowing you to use your computer and mobile phone on the same screen.

The system update also promises more performance, especially for use in games. Huawei promises up to 11% less power consumption than the previous version, and the “super memory management” feature has been optimized for more applications with up to 14% improvements.

Huawei plans to make HarmonyOS more and more popular. According to the company, HarmonyOS 2 has already reached 200 million devices at the time of the release of its new version.
