Manchester City teamed up with Cisco to design the scarf. The new Connected Scarf can monitor a range of physiological indicators. Their analysis shows how much the fans were hurt by what happened on the pitch.

The scarf was tested on a longtime City fan. The device uses the EmotiBit biosensor hidden in the neck area. The scarf monitors heart rate, body temperature, and emotional arousal. Tests confirmed this.
