The Saratov Leninsky District Court reportedly complied with the requests of the Saratov District Prosecutor’s Office in the Tor case. “Requests for the recognition of information prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation have been fulfilled,” Interfax said, quoting its interlocutor.
Remember the history of the conflict. In December 2021, the developers of the Tor network received a notification from Roskomnadzor about the need to remove information prohibited in the Russian Federation from the website torproject.org. At the same time, a blocking message appeared. In January, Tor Proje A.Ş. appealed the decision of the district court, which became the basis for the blocking. In May, the Saratov District Court overturned the court’s decision and sent the case back for a new trial. Now, the information in Tor Browser has been declared forbidden again.
