A Moscow court again fined the Yandex.Food service 60,000 rubles for leaking user data, writes RIA Novosti.
A similar decision was made in April regarding food.
- On March 1, Yandex.Food reported that the unfair actions of a service employee led to the leaking of customer phones and information about their orders. Yandex assured that the filtration did not affect the banking, payment and registration data of the users.
- On March 22, the attackers opened a site with a map, where the data of the users of the service could be viewed with the total amount of orders for the last six months. Customers of the service went to court with a class action lawsuit over the leak. The press service said that the incident is related to the situation that occurred on March 1.
- The company was fined 60 thousand rubles for data leakage.
- In late June, Food allowed users to delete information about their orders on the service. Such an opportunity should also appear for Yandex.Lavka.
- In July, Roskomnadzor drafted an administrative protocol against Yandex.Food for leaking personal data of couriers. The fine will be up to 100 thousand rubles.
