The story sees the protagonists in the middle of a mysterious case where they find themselves in front of a dead man and begin to fuel mutual suspicions about who committed the murder. The character of Christian Bale and that of John David Washington are two soldiers, while Margot Robbie is a nurse. The three had previously met in Belgium, but are together in Amsterdam at the time of the murder.
The cast is completed by other exceptional actors and characters such as Rami Malek, Anya Taylor-Joy, Zoe Saldana, Chris Rock, Taylor Swift, Michael Shannon and Robert De Niro.
