A message about stopping sales of equipment and electronics in the Vmall online store and app was posted on the site’s website.

Vmall clarified that all purchased items will be covered by warranty service according to the store’s warranty terms.

In June, it became known that Huawei closed several stores in Russia. According to RIA Novosti, as of June 8, of the 19 Huawei stores in Russia, 4 had stopped working.

The agency source clarified that the closure is due to a drop in demand for smartphones and a shortage of products in warehouses, which was caused by a disruption in supply chains.

In early July, service centers in Russia reported a shortage of spare parts for Huawei smartphones. It was reported that there are no screens and batteries for Huawei yet.

At the end of July, a Huawei partner spoke about Huawei’s mass layoffs of freelancers: the company is no longer recruiting new employees.
