In 2022, Avito, together with the logistics company EXMAIL, plans to open more than 350 branded pickup and delivery points for online orders in Russia. The company will spend more than 100 million rubles on this project. In total, Avito will invest RUB 3.5 billion in the development of Avito Delivery in 2022.

Avito will allocate 100 million rubles to open branded collection points in Russian cities

The first Avito x EXMAIL collection points appeared in April this year in 12 Russian cities: Abakan, Barnaul, Kazan, Omsk, Tomsk, Tyumen, Khabarovsk, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk. Now 90 branded outlets have already opened in 58 cities, and another 80 outlets will appear by autumn, including in cities not previously covered by the Avito branded collection point network. Users can see all available collection points when placing an order through Avito Delivery.

“During the last time, since the first opening of the brand collection points in April, the number of orders through them has multiplied by seven; we see that our users value the benefits that distinguish branded items. Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Krasnogorsk and Kazan became the most active cities in terms of the number of orders. Now our priority task is to scale the network both in the cities already covered by the first launch and in new settlements”.— shared Sergey Pustylnik, director of logistics at Avito.

Avito x EXMAIL brand collection points not only solve the company’s task of expanding the network of order receiving and shipping points, but also meet the needs of platform users: for example, they have comfortable testers and plugs so you can check out merchandise from the home appliance and electronics categories.

Avito x EXMAIL collection points also feature a sleek space that is convenient for checking purchases or packing orders for shipping, and an expanded facility area (compared to the accepted industry standard) that ranges from 35 to 65 meters squares

Through Avito Delivery, users can safely buy things both within their city without a personal meeting with the seller, and place an order from any region of Russia, as well as send goods worth up to 150 thousand rubles, weighing up to 15 kg and sizes up to 50 × 50 × 50 cm.

In June 2022, the number of people who enabled the sale option through Avito Delivery in their ads multiplied by 5.5 compared to the previous year and exceeded 45 million users.
