The OnePlus 9RT is said to be better than the twice as expensive Samsung S22+. And how did it happen?

The host of the SMART REVIEW channel compared the OnePlus 9RT and Samsung Galaxy S22+ smartphones in terms of performance and operation. Samsung really came out better, but by how much?

The Samsung S22+ only comes with a charging cable, but with the OnePlus you get a case, cable, 65W power supply. In addition, a protective film is immediately attached to the 9RT screen. It is more convenient to hold in your hand without a case, although the more compact Samsung, not OnePlus. The fingerprint scanner is also faster on the S22+. The same can be said for sound.

The screens of the devices are similar, but the Samsung screen is still better. It has good viewing angles, higher peak brightness (1300 nits versus 1600 nits for the OnePlus), but its PWM is very strong.

Of the processors, the Samsung S22 + includes an Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (RAM – 8 GB) on the OnePlus 9RT – Snapdragon 888 (RAM – 8/12 GB). The results of the stress test are pretty much the same for smartphones. The autonomy of OnePlus and Samsung is average: they last 6-7 hours with standard use and 4-4.5 hours at maximum brightness using the Internet. In both cases, the battery capacity is 4500 mAh.

The S22+ charges pretty fast: 69 percent in half an hour on a 45W charge and 100 percent in an hour. Of course, OnePlus skips Samsung at this point due to 65-watt charging: it takes 30-35 minutes to fully charge. At the same time, Samsung supports wireless charging, unlike the OnePlus 9RT.

Samsung is still the leader when it comes to photo and video capture. Although if we compare the pictures from the main camera, they will be very close in quality, while those from the front camera are definitely better on the S22+. As for video, both devices can adequately shoot at 4K 60fps.

The OnePlus 9RT smartphone is a very high quality solution. The expert concludes that in practice it is really close to the flagship level.
