Skoltech and the Research Institute of Radio Communications (FSBI NIIR) are thinking about the 6G standard. For the project they need more than 30 billion rubles. 6G equipment is expected to be ready by 2025.
Rostec stated that “the development of mobile communications of the sixth generation (6G / NET2030) is at an initial stage, expectations from the standard are currently outlined.”
6G will transfer data at over 1 Tbps and will work on hold on 95 GHz.
