At different times, criminals have carried out spam attacks, intrusions, DDoS attacks, among other common crimes in the cryptocurrency market. Solana’s official profile on Twitter states that the hackers broke into nearly 8,000 wallets – the company continues to post updates on the case.

The company has not released many details about the attack so far, but Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko said the criminals targeted apps for Android and iOS devices.

The company says the problem is not with Solana’s core code, but with the code used in different wallets popular with users. according to the information decrypthackers may have gotten users’ security keys.
