Apple removed 439,000 apps in the second quarter of this year. The main reason for the removal of applications was that there were no updates for many years. 64% of these apps have not received software updates for at least two years or more. According to Pixalate, 31% of unlisted apps on the Apple App Store did not have a privacy policy.
Although removing an app from the list removes its page from the App Store, users who have already downloaded the app will still have it on their device.
