In education, 85% of respondents use MacBook Air or Pro, while Apple desktops account for 20% for personal use (11% use iMac and 9% Mac Pro).
In the business world, 83% of users choose the MacBook, while 17% prefer the Mac desktop.
Interestingly, the survey did not include Mac mini or Mac Studio data, possibly due to low sales (or just people who didn’t buy CIRP). CIRP suggests that the recently released 15-inch MacBook Air could further increase laptop use in education and business environments.
