In 2022, Beeline specialists checked network tests in the Moscow metro and came to the conclusion that the average Internet speed increased by 4.5 times.
Peak hour speeds can now reach 127 Mbps. At the time of the drive tests, it did not fall below 89 Mbps on any of the sensors, but reached the level 151 Mbps.
It is noted that operators collect almost 100% mobile coverage of all assemblers and hauls of the Moscow metro. That is, there is a chance that the connection in the normal movement will be broken, activated.
In addition, the metro uses VoLTE technology for voice calls.
The improvement in advertising of the Beeline agency was also confirmed by the independent analytical agency Telecom Daily. The operators are reported to provide the highest loading speed in train cars and at Moscow metro stations, as well as provide a stable network in hauls (as of the end of November 2021).
The growth in the quality of communication in the Moscow metro became possible due to the large-scale modernization of Beeline networks to the 5G Ready standard. 5G-Ready equipment currently uses communication services using LTE Advanced and LTE Advanced Pro technologies.
