With the price of video cards falling, some gamers will no longer delay it: they will build a new computer. Gigabyte will hope that many high-end components are sold out, as that’s the purpose of the new Aorus C500 Glass cases. The case has room for e-atx motherboards, large graphics cards and radiators up to 420 millimeters.

For a mid-tower in 2022, the C500 Glass is pretty big because it measures 548 x 250 x 482 millimeters (height x width x depth). Thanks to the largely mesh front panel, it gets plenty of fresh air, according to Gigabyte. The three 120mm argb fans placed behind it undoubtedly have something to do with it as well.

At the back we find another fan that can be connected to the argb and pwm hub located behind the motherboard plate. There are also necessary recesses that should facilitate cable management.

If you choose air cooling, you can store models up to 190mm high in the C500 Glass, and you can put the CPU water cooler and 360mm radiators on top, or even 420mm on the front. Video cards up to 420mm long will fit in the case, so you’ll have to really do your best to find anything that isn’t compatible. There is also room for power supplies with a maximum depth of 220 mm.

You can install two 2.5-inch storage drives behind the motherboard, and there is room for two more 2.5- or 3.5-inch models in the psu tunnel. At the top we find the i/o, which consists of three USBs (2x type-a and 1x type-c, all 5 Gbit/s) and a set of audio ports.

Gigabyte has not yet made a statement about the exact release date of the C500 Glass. Its price is also not yet known: it will likely be somewhere between the C300 Glass (€140) and the C700 Glass (€440), but there is quite a bit of space in between.
