It is noted that during installation, applications typically require various permissions to function properly. As a rule, this is access to the Internet, the creation of icons, Bluetooth, etc. This does not require special permissions from the user.

But there are “suspicious” permissions that apps don’t need to run. And if some programs require such permissions, it’s a cause for concern.

In total, there are 8 groups of such permissions, one of which is access to the “Calendar”. Despite the fact that such permission is harmless, the “Calendar” can become a source of information about the user, which is important to scammers. Especially if the owner of the device uses Calendar all the time.

This information may be transferred to third parties. And due to some kind of “glitch”, the application may accidentally delete important information from the calendar,” experts from Roskachestvo warned.
