Ubisoft reports that Rainbow Six Siege has not released a new map for the past three years, but that will change from today. Emerald Plains, the new map added to the game, is now playable on all available platforms.
As a player you should be able to experience the hills of Northern Ireland at the Emerald Plains country club and private ranch and explore the area to find the best approach to your match. For example, risk climbing through the skylight, using the three interior stairs, or hiding in the fireplace atrium.
The two floors within the Emerald Plains are different from each other. The lower floor is modern and should contrast with the classical style of the mansion’s upper floor. This should highlight clear recognition and orientation points. Spacious rooms are partially inspired by Bartlett and Border and should provide ample playing field on the medium-sized map, according to Ubisoft.
As a player, you spawn with the new defending Operator Max as part of the Year 7 Season 1 Demon Veil in the Emerald Plains. The Kiba Barrier gadget needs to take a whole new spin on how to approach both defense and attack in the game. The Kiba Knife is a throwable tool that, upon impact, releases a self-expanding material that solidifies into a bulletproof surface.
