Netflix plans to create new subscription plan. The method will be cheaper than current offers starting at R$25.90 in Brazil, but inclusion of ads.

“Those who follow Netflix know that I’ve always been against the complexity of advertising and a big fan of the simplicity of subscription. But as much as I am a fan, I’m an even bigger fan of consumer choice. It makes a lot of sense for them to get it,” says the manager.

Hastings also confirmed that the app does not contain data tracking and targeted advertising based on user habits, instead it will be a tolerable experience.
