Lithuanian inventor Aleksey Zaytsevsky designed a drone with the sound name “Interceptor”, the main task of which is to intercept and land other small-sized flying vehicles in a prescribed manner. The drone is designed to work in the remaining patrols. As soon as a target is encountered to intercept, the interceptor launches to stop it at the cost of destroying its structure – but at the same time it cannot be called a classic kamikaze.
The interceptor is extremely powerful with extremely low weight. Thanks to this, it starts up very quickly, quickly reaches the target, can circle around itself so that the operator can use the disease surveillance camera and at the right time decide on its use and landing. When this happens, the Interceptor dives under the alien and shoots up all four motors, which, in addition, scatter in different directions, stretching the Kevlar trapping net. She tangles the propellers of the target drone and it falls.
The interceptor itself, after firing the motors, releases parachutes and smoothly descends to the ground – with its low weight, this is very simple. Drone Knows how to beep to find it faster, and put it back together, preparing for the next launch. So far, this is a prototype, but Zaitsevsky is already looking for opportunities to commercialize his project.
