Kommersant learned of the impending liquidation of Autodesk (CIA) LLC and the layoff of employees.

The publication was told in the company that they are evaluating the prospects for business development and employees in Russia from the suspension of work in the country, but at the moment they do not have additional information in this regard.

According to official data from the Federal Tax Service, 31 people work in the Russian office of Autodesk. Basically, these are not developers, but sales managers, the experts noted. They explained that Autodesk’s current decision was expected in light of the company’s suspension of operations in Russia in March.

Autodesk develops programs for the design and layout of buildings in 3D. According to experts, only a third of companies in Russia use similar domestic software.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the revenue of the Russian company Autodesk in 2021 amounted to 322.8 million rubles, net profit – 13.3 million rubles.
