Overall, Carlsberg ended the first half of the year with increased sales of its own beer. If in the first half of 2021 the company earned $3.93 billion from sales, then for the same period of the current year – $4.84 billion, Carlsberg’s net profit from sales amounted to $550 million .

Carlsberg announced its withdrawal from the Russian market in March. The corporation produces beer under more than 500 names, including Carlsberg, Tuborg, Kronenbourg.

McDonald’s estimated its losses due to the Russian exit at $1.2 billion. On August 11, Siemens reported its first quarterly net loss in 12 years. His company suffered, among other things, due to the withdrawal from the Russian market.
