Unim was founded in 2014 by Aleksey Remez. The company creates innovative full-cycle solutions for the organization of turnkey pathomorphological diagnoses, from recommendations and methodology for the correct collection and fixation of biological material, its preparation and staining, to registration in the system, digitization and issuance of a conclusion. .

The company develops digital tools that help detect cancer.

The current deal is a way out for IIDF, former RVC chief investment officer Alexei Basov, Medme company, Invitro co-founder Valentin Doronichev.

The transaction amount for the purchase of 100% Unim is not called. Before the agreement, the majority (36.8%) belonged to Remez. Another 28.04% was owned by Medme, IIDF owned 16.86%, Alexei Basov 10.38%. Another 6.52% of the company belonged to Nikolai Korman and 1.4% to Alexander Gorkov.

The total amount of IIDF and Basov investments in 2016 amounted to 11 million rubles. In 2021, the company’s revenue amounted to 267 million rubles, net profit – 12 million rubles.

Tashir Medica is an investment holding company, part of Samvel Karapetyan’s Tashir group (owner of shopping and entertainment centers under the Rio and Yerevan Plaza brand). The holding company specializes in investments and asset management in health and digital medicine (includes Botkin.AI, Netrika Medicine and several other companies).
