Russian banks are trying to pay salaries through the fast payment system (SBP). Five credit institutions participate in the tests.
The new method will allow you to transfer wages according to the selected details in the SBP: phone number, TIN, etc. At the same time, Russians will be able to choose the bank where the money will come from without notifying the employer, Izvestia learned. from sources in the banking market.
To fully launch the project, changes in labor legislation may be required, says Amir Khasanov, a member of the Russian Bar Association. The lawyer explained that according to the Labor Code, the money is paid to the employee to the bank specified in the employee’s application, or under the terms determined by the employment contract.
With the implementation of the SBP, the worker will be able to change the bank to which the salary will arrive without the participation of the employer. And this already contradicts the current version of the code – it is necessary to mention the possibility of accumulating money through the service of the Central Bank.
