The Lamoda user sued the online store for 3 million rubles for 122 canceled orders, the Ni Mash Telegram channel reports.

The Russian sued Lamoda 3 million rubles for canceled orders

The retailer did not deliver goods worth a total of 3 million rubles to a resident of the city of Bor in the Nizhny Novgorod region during the year. A technical failure was cited as the reason. In this case, the company returned to the buyer the advance payment made by him.

This situation arose after last year Lamoda did not return the money to the customer for shoes and watches that did not fit.

The buyer returned the items, but the store charged that the shipped items were in use, “a piece of cement was found in the shoe box”, and “another watch” in the watch box. As a result, Lamoda called the buyer a problem customer.

The Russian went to court, which sided with the customer, as it turned out that the retailer did not have a return policy due to a technical fault.

“For those days that Lamoda kept the advance, there is a penalty. The court accepted my calculation”, explained the buyer.

Lamoda’s press service told RB.RU that “the court decision has not entered into force, the company has already appealed it.” A new hearing in this case is scheduled for September 21.
