The proportion of companies that have an employee training program in 2022 decreased by 11 percentage points, from 85% to 74% compared to 2021, according to Ancor research.
“The number of companies with training programs has decreased; this is a natural result of the crisis, employers are cutting staff costs. At the same time, the employees themselves are more consciously approaching education, striving to improve the efficiency of their work; this is a new trend”, said Yulia Podoksenova, General Director of Ancor Consulting.
Among the organizations that have maintained educational activities, 52% conduct staff training monthly and 26%, irregularly, when necessary. 64% of continuing education organizations conduct educational activities as usual, 17% have partially “frozen” this area, 15% have increased and expanded such programs, and only 4% have completely closed education.
Specialists, as the results of the study showed, attach more and more importance to further education: 42% have engaged in it over the past year, 64% plan to take courses in the near future.
A third (33%) reported that the new knowledge had a significant impact on their current employment situation.
The study involved 363 company representatives and 5,320 employees and candidates.
