The Federal Employment Service has calculated the number of foreign companies that left Russia or suspended their work in the country. According to the department, more than 125,000 employees of these organizations are currently inactive.

The employment service of the Russian Federation counted the number of foreign companies that left Russia.

Since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, some 3,000 foreign companies have put their businesses on hold, 500 of them have been liquidated, citing statistics from the Federal Employment Service of the Russian Federation.

Due to the termination of work in Russia, more than 125,000 employees of these organizations are in a state of uncertainty or downtime. About the same number of appeals received by the department of Russians with a request to protect their labor rights. However, only 483 people complained about the foreign companies, the service noted.

The employment service sent statistics to the relevant committee of the State Duma to prepare measures to support the population. At the moment, the service offers unemployed citizens to carry out public works, which are paid together with unemployment benefit.
