In Russia, the online store of Japan’s Panasonic, which closed in March due to a special operation in the Ukraine, has resumed operations. The assortment remained the same, the company plans to turn the store into a market for Japanese products.

Panasonic store in Russia opened with a new name

The Panasonic store opened under the name of Eplaza. The store manager, Eplaza LLC, was registered on August 15, 2022, one of its founders is Anton Smirnov, former senior manager of Panasonic in Russia. Another is Oksana Lyubivaya, the founder of a company who worked with Panasonic before the start of the special operation in Ukraine.

Eplaza presents the entire assortment of the Panasonic brand, which was present in the original store: more than 1 thousand items. The store is planned to become a market for Japanese products.

Japan’s Panasonic stopped deliveries to Russia in March. The brand’s products are included in the list available for import into the Russian Federation under parallel import.
